Fabricated memories, Volume I and II- explores the recording of memory through photography and the artifacts that the process leaves behind. Through capturing intimate, casual, and mundane moments of my everyday life; the images become evidence that something happened even as the larger story is eroded by the passing of time. The act of photography is always one of both creation and failure. Soon the events as they initially occurred are lost and only the photograph remains as a visual remnant now part and parcel of an ever evolving fiction.
